At Lacor Textil, we continue to make progress, and our achievements do not go unnoticed. Recently, El Heraldo de Aragón highlighted our work, recognizing the effort and dedication of our entire team.
Every year, more than 30 million garments—around 200,000 a day—pass through our hands to arrive perfectly ironed and bagged at Inditex stores around the world. All of this happens from our facilities at the Zaragoza Logistics Platform (Plaza), where we have been operating since 2017.
This year we have taken a key step: we opened a new warehouse in which we invested €3.5 million. This is in addition to last year’s machinery renovation, with an additional €1.4 million, reaching a total investment of €6 million over the last five years. A commitment that allows us to modernize, gain capacity, and continue growing alongside our customers.
We know that Inditex’s pace requires an increasingly agile, precise, and adaptable service, and that’s why we’re preparing to always respond on time. Today, we have a team of 620 people during peak periods, such as the Christmas season. During the rest of the year, we maintain an average of 300 permanent employees and around 50 or 60 temporary workers, with a workforce made up of 64% women and 36% men. Since 2020, we have worked intensively to build team loyalty and reduce temporary contracts, because we are clear that growth only makes sense if it’s driven by people.
Our activity never stops: we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a flexible organization that adapts to the needs of each moment. With one of the most powerful textile logistics centers in Europe, we continue to look to the future. The new developments planned in Zaragoza for the second half of 2026 will allow us to further strengthen our role within Inditex’s global logistics network.
And that’s just the beginning. The future Malpica project will represent a major leap forward for everyone: a 286,000 m² complex, with a 130,000 m² warehouse and six automated silos, which will also include a space dedicated to ironing and garment preparation.
From our beginnings to today, we’ve come a long way, becoming a key player in logistics and industrial ironing in Aragon. And the best part is that we continue with the same passion we always have: to grow, improve, and offer the best possible service.
