For the first time, Lacor Textil participates in the Dual FP Talent initiative, a project that is committed to the future and training of young people in Aragon. As a company committed to local talent, we wanted to join this program to contribute our vision and open our doors to new generations of professionals eager to learn, grow and be part of the change. This participation reflects our commitment to innovation, employability and the development of the educational and professional environment.
It was last Monday when the second edition of Talento FP Dual was kicked off, a program led by the San Valero Center and Heraldo de Aragón. This initiative, which has the collaboration of the Government of Aragon, has already experienced the first contact between its protagonists: the representatives of the 12 participating companies and the 30 students who are already part of Talento FP Dual.
This opening ceremony was held at the facilities of Grupo San Valero and was also attended by members of the organization, such as David Berrueco, Teaching Director of Centro San Valero, who stressed that “companies are looking for professionals with skills that go beyond technical ones. Teaching how to communicate, how to solve problems, how to face challenges… These are skills that must not only be taught, but also practiced. That is what we are going to dedicate ourselves to on May 5 and 6.”
It will be then when the “workshops” will be held, where students from the two participating centers (San Valero Group and IES Pablo Serrano), will form multidisciplinary groups to work as a team and demonstrate their skills in different dynamics.

For his part, José Antonio Morlán, business director of HENNEO, stressed that “it is exciting to see the reception of initiatives like this, which come from the heart. There are 12 companies participating this year, but there are many others that have not been able to do so for various technical reasons. For you, the students, this is a great platform to show high-level companies all the potential you have inside. Take advantage of the opportunity, because your professional future can start today.”
During the event, the participating companies were also able to present their activity and what they are looking for in their ideal candidate in order to obtain the long-awaited scholarship. Some such as Grupo Jorge, Edelvives, Ariño Duglass and Golive repeat their participation for the second year in Dual FP Talent; while others such as Bonarea, Lacor Textil, Acciona, Grupo Costa, Araiz, Sata Group, Grupo Vall Companys and UTE EBRO join this edition.
The person in charge of closing the event was Luis Mariano Mellada, general director of Planning, Centers and Vocational Training of the Government of Aragon, who did not hesitate to do so with a significant fact: “Dual Vocational Training is based on organization, responsibility and employability. 97.4% of students who do Intensive Dual Vocational Training stay in the companies where they have developed this training, making it the best known system for retaining talent. Companies need students with attitude, people with heads and hearts.”
While companies and students enjoyed a coffee together to start getting to know each other, Óscar Montalvo, a student in the electronics sector at Grupo San Valero, shared that “it has been very interesting to get to know the companies. In addition, Talento FP Dual is of great help because working and learning at the same time is very evolutionary for those of us who are developing our learning”.
