At Lacor Textil, we took part in the opening of the 10th edition of the Talento Aragón Joven (TAJ) program, held at The Wave. This initiative, promoted by HERALDO DE ARAGÓN and ESIC Aragón, once again brings together companies and university students with the aim of highlighting the value of young talent in our region.

In this edition, we are participating for the second consecutive year, reaffirming our commitment to attracting, developing, and supporting emerging talent in Aragon. At Lacor Textil, a company specialized in textile reprocessing and B2B logistics services, we continue to consolidate our growth within the fashion sector, focusing on innovation, continuous improvement, and people development as a strategic pillar.

During the opening session, the acting Vice President of the Government of Aragon, Mar Vaquero, highlighted the growing interest in this congress and the increase in registrations, emphasizing Aragon’s key role as a territory of opportunity for young talent.

Under the title “Talento Aragón Joven: When Talent Clicks”, the importance of people within the organizations of the future was emphasized, as well as the need to go beyond CVs to understand candidates in a more authentic way. In this sense, the program aims to identify talent at its core: what is not always trainable, but can be discovered and nurtured.

A total of 52 university students have been selected as finalists in this edition, taking part in an immersive three-day experience where they live together and engage in activities designed to showcase how they think, work, and interact. Throughout the program, companies and young participants share meeting spaces with the aim of building genuine and lasting connections.

The results of previous editions support the impact of the initiative, with more than 200 meetings between companies and young people, 35 participating companies, 462 finalists, 215 internships awarded, and a high employment continuity rate, with 72% of students remaining in the companies where they completed their internship.

At Lacor Textil, we have successfully renewed our annual ISO 9001:2015 certification audit with outstanding results. This achievement reinforces the effectiveness and maturity of our quality management system, confirming that it is fully implemented, operates efficiently, and meets both the requirements of the standard and the expectations of our customers and other stakeholders.

A ROBUST SYSTEM WITH NO DEVIATIONS

During the audit process, Bureau Veritas highlighted the stability of our system and the alignment between what we plan and what we execute on a daily basis. Additionally, the effectiveness of all corrective actions implemented in previous cycles was verified, reflecting our ability to learn, continuously improve, and strengthen our processes.

A RESULT THAT REFLECTS THE COLLECTIVE EFFORT

This result reaffirms our commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Our commitment to sustainability translates into real results

At Lacor Textil, we understand sustainability as a commitment that must be translated into concrete actions capable of generating a positive impact on people, the organization, and the environment.

Throughout 2025, we have continued to advance in this direction through various initiatives aimed at reducing waste and emissions within our facilities.

One of the main measures implemented over the past year has been the sustainable hydration service in partnership with Aquaservice, a system that replaces single-use plastic bottles with reusable solutions.

These results highlight how small everyday changes can create a significant environmental impact when they are part of a business strategy committed to sustainability. Additionally, we have continued implementing other responsible measures within our facilities. Among them, the Aquavitaly initiative stands out, which has enabled us to achieve the following results.

In addition to these actions, a charitable clothing collection container has been installed within our facilities in collaboration with Cáritas. Thanks to the involvement of our team, more than 40 kg of clothing have been collected, helping to reduce the environmental impact of the textile sector through garment reuse while also supporting a social cause.

This initiative has resulted in an estimated environmental saving of between 120 and 150 kg of CO₂, as well as up to 200,000 liters of water—resources that would otherwise be required for the production of new garments.

Overall, these actions reflect a clear objective: to move towards an increasingly responsible management model in which sustainability is part of our everyday work.

March 8, International Women’s Day: commitment to equality at Lacor Textil

March 8, 2026 – International Women’s Day is a date that reminds us that equality between women and men remains a social and workplace challenge. At Lacor Textil, we see this day as an opportunity to reinforce our commitment to equal opportunities, the recognition of talent, and fair access to responsibilities within the company.

Currently, women represent 60.97% of our workforce, with a strong presence at all levels of the organization. In the area of direct labor, 63% of the team are women, while in middle management their presence reaches 50%, and within the company’s corporate structure they represent 55%.

Equality is also reflected in access to responsibility. 63% of leadership positions are held by women, and 22 women are currently leading teams, representing 59% of the company’s leadership roles.

The department with the highest female presence is Production, where many professionals play a key role in the company’s daily operations.

On this 8M, Lacor Textil reaffirms the importance of continuing to build work environments where equality is real, measurable, and sustainable, because moving toward a fairer society also begins in the workplace.

That is why today we want to give visibility to many of the women who are part of our team—women who, through their daily work, inspire, lead, and make Lacor Textil possible.

“Healthy Ergonomics” Chair: a commitment to our workers’ health

“Healthy Ergonomics” Chair: a commitment to our workers’ health

Since 2024, at Lacor Textil, we have reaffirmed our commitment to the safety and well-being of our workers through the “Healthy ErgonomIA” Chair, created in collaboration with San Jorge University. This pioneering project seeks to prevent musculoskeletal disorders in the textile industry by combining research, training, and advanced technology.

Project Milestones and Objectives

The chair focuses on developing multidimensional research to identify and reduce musculoskeletal risks within our work environment. We have the support of four renowned research groups—ValorA, UNLOC, iPhysio, and Motus—and we promote the predoctoral training of researchers completing their PhDs within the chair.

Since its inception, we have implemented innovative methodologies such as:

Motion sensor analysis: Studying the daily activity of our workers to detect repetitive and potentially harmful movements.
Comprehensive factor evaluation: Analyzing physical, psychosocial, biomechanical, and organizational factors that may affect musculoskeletal health.
Use of digital tools and advanced technology: Such as the RehBody app and state-of-the-art biomechanics laboratories.

Currently, the project is moving forward with an 8-week physical exercise and health education program, where the chair’s team conducts weekly workshops at our facilities covering ergonomics, exercise, and nutrition.

A PROJECT THAT GOES BEYOND RESEARCH

The chair also promotes the exchange of knowledge through courses, seminars, and conferences, and collaborates on advisory projects to improve occupational safety.

Beyond learning, our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our workers and anyone performing similar roles. By analyzing postures, movements, and work shifts, we aim to design environments and practices that prevent injuries and promote health.

Lacor Textil, a key player in Inditex’s logistics in Zaragoza

Lacor Textil, a key player in Inditex’s logistics in Zaragoza

Lacor Textil handles millions of garments each year for Zara Women and adjusts its workforce to up to 600 people during peak periods.

In less than a decade, Lacor Textil has established itself as a key link in Inditex’s logistics chain in Zaragoza, within the European Platform. We have demonstrated this year after year since our founding in 2018.

From our large-scale workshop for Zara Women in the Plaza industrial estate, we receive, inspect, condition, and prepare millions of garments that, within a few days, move from our containers to stores across Europe.

Sergio Puente, our manager, oversees a warehouse that has experienced rapid growth in volume, workforce, and operational complexity, becoming a strategic player for Inditex.

“Lacor Textil plays a crucial role in one of the important links of Inditex’s logistics, which is store distribution,” Puente summarizes. Its mission is simple to understand but complex to execute: receive, inspect, condition, and prepare each garment so it reaches the store in optimal condition.

The company sorts merchandise by reference, checks fabric compositions, inspects product quality, and acts, in the manager’s words, as “a quality wall before the product reaches the customer.”

In addition, we carry out order picking and undertake the reprocessing tasks agreed with Inditex, from labeling to tunnel ironing or more specialized ironing and sewing operations.

Puente estimates that “every person in this country could have one garment per year handled by Lacor Textil,” which amounts to tens of millions of units annually, with double-digit growth in recent years. He also adds, “We are capable of picking 40,000 to 50,000 units in eight hours, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

From the moment containers arrive at the port until the garments are ready for distribution to stores in cities such as Stockholm, London, or Paris, only a few days pass—thanks to the strength of Inditex’s global logistics system.

Lacor Textil Contest: ‘Drawing a Sustainable World’

At Lacor Textil, we experienced a very special day with the visit to our offices of the participants in the drawing contest “Drawing a Sustainable World”, an initiative that brought children’s creativity and reflection on caring for the environment to the forefront.

The children, accompanied by their families, had the opportunity to visit our facilities and enjoy a relaxed gathering during which the prizes were awarded. The visit concluded with a small snack, prepared to celebrate their talent and effort.

Choosing the winning drawings was not an easy task. Lacor Textil’s Innovation Team assessed aspects such as originality, technique, and especially the message conveyed in each artwork. Finally, the winners were:

Over 10 category: Amina

Beyond the prizes, the contest has been a clear reflection of the commitment and sensitivity shown by the youngest participants when imagining a cleaner, more responsible, and more sustainable world. All the drawings received reflect a fresh and thoughtful perspective on today’s environmental challenges.
